LG launches K10, K7 smartphones in India: Price, specifications and features revealed
NEW DELHI: South Korean smartphone maker LG has launched two new K series smartphones – K10 and K7 in India. Both the handsets were announced ahead of CES 2016 in January. These are the first 'made in India' handsets by the South Korean giant.
Both the smartphones offer 4G support and will succeed LG's L smartphone series. It claims that K Series smartphones will be the first to offer LG's glossy pebble design language.
On the specifications front, the LG K10 features a 5.3-inch HD display with a pixel density of 720p. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual SIM functionality. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device accounts to 16GB which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
The LG K10 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP primary camera. The device houses a 2,300 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
On the other hand, the LG K7 flaunts a 5-inch display with 854x480 pixels resolution, and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device packs in a 2,125 mAh battery and comes equipped with a 5.0-megapixel shooter at the front end. Powering the handset is a 1.2GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
For photography, the device sports a 5MP rear and front cameras and it houses a 2,125 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The company has priced the LG K10 at Rs 13,500 while the LG K7 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,500. Both the handsets will come in White, Indigo and Gold colour options.
