Lava X46 smartphone launched at Rs 7,999

NEW DELHI: Lava has added yet another smartphone to its budget line-up with the launch of X46. Priced at Rs 7,999, the Lava X46 will come in golden colour and offer support for 12 Indian languages. Along with this, the handset also has a Flip to Mute feature.

As far as the specifications go, the Lava X46 has a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It offers 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further
expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The dual-sim handset boasts an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.

Recently, Lava launched its A82 budget smartphone. Priced at Rs 5,299, the phone is exclusively available online on TataCliQ.com, Tata Group's new e-commerce venture, along with retail and multi-brand handset outlets. The smartphone is available in Blue, White and Gold colours.

In terms of specifications, Lava A82 features a 5-inch display with 480x854 pixel resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, it offers 8GB of storage. Users can also install microSD cards of up to 32GB.
