has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of another entry-level smartphone Aqua G2. Priced at Rs 1,990,
Intex Aqua G2
features a 2.8-inch TFT display with 240x320p resolution.
The handset comes with dual-sim functionality and runs on
Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Powering the handset is a single-core processor paired with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM with microSD card support of up to 16GB.
The smartphone comes with 0.3MP front and rear
cameras and packs 1,100 mAh battery that provides approximately 5 hours talktime and a standby time of 5-6 days, according to the company. The Intex Aqua G2 also comes with functions like gesture control, gravity sensor and Emergency Rescue (SOS button).
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, mobile business head, Intex Technologies said, "With Aqua G2, we are targeting feature phone users who are yet to switch to smartphones."
Late last month, the company launched
Cloud Jewel smartphone at Rs 5,999. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD Display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Powering the handset is a quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM.
