Intex launches Aqua Ace II smartphone, priced at Rs 8,999

NEW DELHI: Indian smartphone maker Intex has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of of Aqua Ace II smartphone. The company has priced the device at Rs 8,999 and it will be available in white and golden colour option on all the leading online and retail stores in the country.
On the specifications front, the Intex Aqua Ace II features a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the smartphone stands at 16GB which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Intex Aqua Ace II comes with dual sim functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper for selfies. The handset houses a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Recently, Intex launched two entry-level 4G smartphones, the Cloud 4G Smart and Aqua 4G Strong, priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 4,499 respectively. The Intex Cloud 4G Smart will be going on sale exclusively via Flipkart, and there is no word on the availability of Aqua 4G Strong.
