NEW DELHI: Indian handset maker
Intex
expanded its product portfolio, listing the
Aqua
Costa and Aqua 4.5 3G
smartphones on its official website. The
Intex Aqua Costa
is priced at Rs 5,449 and the
Intex Aqua 4.5 3G
at Rs 3,349. Both the smartphones would be launched in the Indian market soon.
Intex Aqua Costa boasts of a 5-inch FWVGA display with a 480x854 pixel resolution. The
smartphone runs on the
Android
6.0 Marshmallow platform and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core
MediaTek
(MT6580M) processor. The dual-sim device offers 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the Aqua Costa include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and it is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery.
The
Intex Aqua
4.5 3G, on the other hand, has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 480x854 pixel resolution. It runs the older
Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and offers 512MB of RAM. It offers 4GB internal storage expandable through a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. The connectivity options of the device include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS on the back of a 1,500 mAh battery.
Earlier, Intex launched its entry-level smartphone Cloud Tread priced at Rs 4,999 available exclusively on
Snapdeal. It features a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The scratch- resistant display comes with a coating of Dragon Trail Glass, and is powered by a 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
