NEW DELHI: After LG and Samsung, Taiwanese technology brand
The company will most likely launch a separate ‘Lifestyle’ version for the Indian market, based on 1.8Ghz 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon processor.

It sports a 5.2-inch QHD super LCD 5 display offering a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with Gorilla Glass protection. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense UI and mounts a 12MP UltraPixel f/1.8 camera at the back along with a 5MP A/F selfie camera.
Boasting a metal unibody design, it supports 4G connectivity and is powered by HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition with Dolby Audio along with a 3,000 mAh battery. It includes a USB Type-C port.

There is fingerprint scanner at the bottom bezel area. The US variant of the samrtphone will come in two storage variants- 32GB and 64GB, both with 4GB RAM.
The struggling smartphone brand recently reported a third straight quarterly loss for October-December, although losses narrowed due to holiday season demand and the launch of a new phone.
Net loss in the fourth quarter was Tw$3.4 billion ($103 million), compared with a profit of Tw$500 million in the same period last year, the company said in a statement.

Another flop price is a detterrant... Why would one think of shelling out 50 K for HTC when i have the option of iphone...
