NEW DELHI: Mrs.
Nita Ambani, Chairperson and Founder of
Reliance Foundation, and non-executive director, Reliance Industries, was the recipient of the Best Corporate Supporter of Indian Sports at the third Mahindra Scorpio Times of India Awards (
TOISA
) powered by All-Out in Mumbai this week.

Reaching out to over seven million children involved in promoting multiple sports in the country, Mrs. Ambani has helped set up the Indian Super League for football and owns the IPL team, Mumbai Indians.

“Sports brings people together. I just returned from Pyeongchang (South Korea) after attending the Winter Olympic Games. It was a magical experience to see sportspersons from North and South Korea marching together. It was inspiring,” said Mrs Ambani after recovering the Best Corporate Supporter of Indian Sports. “It’s a great honour to receive this award on behalf of Reliance. I would like to congratulate every winner who is present here. Thank you to the Times of India for having this award. It is an initiative that will go a long way in boosting the morale of athletes.”
TOSA is India’s first and largest multi discipline sports awards. It is a platform created by the Times Group to recognise and reward Indian sporting talent and achievements on a global scale and will be held soon to honour the lion hearts who have done the country proud.
