(Photo Credit: FIBA)Captained India to victory at South Asian Basketball Championship and was tournament's MVP. Was India's third-leading scorer (11 points per game) and leading rebounder (8.7 rebounds per game) at the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon.

The near 6’ 10” centre of the Indian national team became the first Indian basketball player to feature in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL). Became the first Indian to start an NBL game, finishing with a perfect 3-for-3 and scoring seven points. Helped the Sydney Kings win the 2017 Atlas Challenge, and in the final against Lithuania, notched up his third double-double of the tournament, with 17 points and 16 rebounds.

During the 2017 United Basketball Alliance (UBA), averaged 25.8 and a league-leading 13 rebounds per game, playing 37.29 minutes per game.

Was India's leading scorer (13 points per game) and passer (4.3) at the FIBA Asia Cup. Was also India's leading scorer at the 2017 BRICS Games and the William Jones Cup.

The power forward from Chandigarh became the 103rd pick in the fourth round of the NBA G League draft, selected for the Oklahoma City Blue, the affiliate team of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder. A week later, Amyjot made the final roster of the Oklahoma City Blue.

During the National Basketball Development League Championship, Amyjot averaged 13.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game over 35 games, playing 21 minutes per game. Also part of the 3x3 side that qualified for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Finals in Abu Dhabi.

The former national captain became the first Indian basketball player to be signed by the National Basketball League (NBL), the professional basketball league of Australia, when he inked a one-year training deal with the Adelaide 36ers.

During the 2017 United Basketball Alliance (UBA), Vishesh was voted Most Valuable Player after averaging 28.33 points and 8.83 rebounds per game, playing 39.68 minutes per game. Also during the UBA, Vishesh had the second most assists - 60 - just one less than the overall leader.

Led ONCG to its fifth consecutive Federation Cup, securing their legacy as one of the greatest teams in Indian basketball history.

ANITA PAUL DURAI






Captained the women’s team to the Division B title of the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup, unbeaten all tournament. During the tournament, which saw the women’s team move into Division A, Anita averaged 16.4 points per game to go with 3.6 rebounds and 4 assists. She temporarily took up a coaching mantle as assistant coach for India's Under-16 women's team.

Was the best player for Kerala as she led them to their first senior national title in over 30 years. During the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup, which the Indian women’s team won to move into Division A, she averaged 13 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Scored 20 points in the final against Kazakhstan, which India won 75-73 to move into Division A. Member of the 3x3 side that reached the semi-finals of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2017 in Mongolia.
