JEMSON NINGTHOUJAM

With Ankita Bhakat, won the mixed team gold medal at the youth championships in Rosario, Argentina. This was India's first world title at the youth championships since Deepika Kumari's victories in 2009 and 2011. The ninth-seeded pair beat Russia in the final, having upset top-seeded Korea in the quarter-finals. Ningthoujam left Rosario with a second medal, a silver, from the recurve junior men's team event.

Member of the women's compound team that won silver at the World Archery Championships in Mexico City. This was India's first medal in the compound team archery section at the World Championships. Member of the compound team that won gold at the Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka.

ABHISHEK VERMA

Part of the trio that delivered India its first ever gold medal in Compound event at the Archery World Cup. Won gold in the compound discipline at the Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka. In the men's compound final, beat Kim Jongho to prove a clean sweep of the individual crowns by Korea. Also at the Asian Championships, was part of the men's compound team that won silver.
