All well, Nell?

Supermodel Cindy Nell didn’t quite seem to be missing Jacques Kallis during her Lucknow visit.
All well, Nell?

Cindy Nell''s name may not ring a bell in Lucknow, but the South African super model who was in town for the Sahara show hosted by Subrata Roy Sahara and attended by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Amar Singh, Anil Kapoor, Raj Babbar and Kapil Dev among several others on Friday evening, has been all over international newspapers last week and for very interesting reasons.

One wonders if Haryana Hurricane Kapil Dev, who was seen around Nell at the function knows that the dusky beauty has just been unceremoniously dumped by another cricketing all-rounder -- Jacques Kallis.

The 28-year-old number one South African cricketer who had been going around with Miss South Africa 2002 Cindy Nell for quite some time now -- nine months to be precise-- has confirmed last week that he and Cindy were out and that Marisa Eggli who won the first princess in the Miss SA 2003 competition was the new girl in his life." "Yes, Cindy and I have gone our separate ways.
We both decided that it would be best. And, yes, Marisa and I are together, but our relationship is still at a very early stage," Kallis said recently. The 20-year-old Eggli has said Kallis and she were "officially a couple". "There is definitely a chemistry between us," Marisa is quoted to have said.

Eggli and Kallis reportedly met at a golf course in June this year and have been communicating via e-mail and SMS, even while Eggli travelled to London and Kallis toured Sri Lanka for a cricket series.

The brunette described herself as ''cautiously crazy in love''.

Incidentally, it was Nell who had crowned Eggli as first princess in the beauty pageant last year.

A first princess has stolen the crown from a queen by taking over her boyfriend, but if Nell is "devastated" as we are made to believe she is, she certainly exhibited no such signs.

Call it Subrata Roy Sahara''s fabled hospitality, Lucknow''s warmth or what you will, but Nell seemed to have put her past behind and was seen having a whale of a time here. Dressed in a lovely pink flowing evening gown, she was the cynosure of all eyes as she mingled with the innumerable guests and performed a quick li''l dance much to the delight of choreographer Shiamak Davar who was also present on the occasion.
