Delhi weather: Rainfall and cooler temperatures expected on Delhi Election Day
As Delhi gears up for polling day on February 5 (Wednesday), if reports are to go by, the city is likely to witness rainfall, which could bring relief from the unusually warm winter temperatures. As per reports, for Delhi, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cloudy skies and light showers on voting day. This may influence voter turnout and travel conditions.

As per IMD reports, February 5 (Wednesday) will see a mix of rain and fog, with drizzle expected during the morning hours. The week ahead will continue to be affected by the western disturbance, with intermittent showers forecast until February 9. Residents can expect fluctuating temperatures, ranging between 9 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, offering some relief from the warmer-than-usual winter experienced in January.

If reports are to go by, the weather forecast for Delhi this week indicates a mix of rain, fog, and clear skies. On February 5, Delhi Election Day, temperatures are expected to range from 22-24 degrees Celsius during the day and 9-11 degrees Celsius at night, with a chance of rain and cloudy skies. Slightly higher temperatures ranging from 23-25 degrees Celsius during the day and 8-10 degrees Celsius at night are expected for February 6. Residents can also expect shallow fog and partly cloudy conditions. On February 7, the temperature is expected to rise further to 24-26 degrees Celsius during the day, with a minimum of 8-10 degrees Celsius at night. February 8 will bring similar temperatures, ranging from 23-25 degrees Celsius in the day and 8-10 degrees Celsius at night, with fog in the morning and clear skies later in the day. Finally, February 9 will see temperatures between 24-26 degrees Celsius during the day and 10-12 degrees Celsius at night, with partly cloudy skies and a mild breeze.
