Jonita Gandhi, the singer shares her secret
Travel plansWith me, everything is last minute. Because of my hectic work schedule, I usually have to plan my personal life in the gaps, which means my travel plans - that have been for pleasure since moving to India - have been last minute, and very short.
Travel styleI pack light and keep moving. I really enjoy adventurous travel. But at the same time I’d need a fine balance between adventure and some quiet time - being able to simply sit and watch the sunrise on the beach or chill in good company.
Foodie moment as a traveller Make sure sample new food items wherever I go. My favourite dish is sushi and I was elated to try the real thing in Japan.
Travel tip Always catch up on some extra sleep on flights.
Scariest travel momentThere was this one time when I was leaving Jalandhar and had a near-death experience on the way to the airport thanks to a drunk cab driver. I asked him to slow down several times, but he didn’t care at all. Sometimes we are forced to put our lives in the hands of others when we’re
travelling and that’s frustrating.
Beauty on-the-goSome eyeliner and a dab of gloss on your lips can go a long way.
Travel pet peeves Long lines at security checks and delayed flights - it takes a lot of energy to be patient with unpredictable circumstances.

Bucket list:Work has taken me to places around the world, but one place I’ve never been to is Australia. Currently, it’s at the top of my list, followed by Madrid and Ibiza.
Must-pack items:Earphones, phone charger, hair straightener, and running shoes. I’m so thankful that cellphones today are all-in-one devices, so lugging around extra gadgets to capture travel moments isn’t mandatory.
