Unlock the secret of comfortable travelling with these skin care tips while you travel

Travelling has always been enticing and adventurous for most people. When you travel, there are probable chances to get tired, feel stressed and you often lose your glow. So, what’s important here is you keep shining until the day ends, when your travelling journey reaches a halt. Travelling often challenges your skincare routine and beauty glow. Between flights, climate changes, and busy schedules, keeping your skin healthy and radiant requires smart planning and simple hacks. Here are ten essential beauty and skincare tips designed to help you maintain your glow, nourish skin and stay fresh all the day long.

2/11

Carry your travelling skincare essentials

If you plan for an outing or a travelling journey, first of all, you must keep the skincare bag of yours. Instead of carrying the large bottles of shampoos, serums and face wash, prefer getting a mini version of them or you can refill them in a small pocket size bottle. You can also prefer buying mini travelling beauty or skin care products which you often use. These products will help you travel easily without any tension for skin care routine.

3/11

Hydrate skin with a facial mist

A hydrating mist or facial spray maintains the glow of your face and remains intact. You can buy mini products or transfer your refreshing mist spray in a small spray bottle. A few spritzes during flights or between outings instantly refresh and moisturize skin, reducing tightness and dullness, while helping you feel energized and radiant.

4/11

Your sunscreen is your companion

Sun damage doesn’t come with invitation, so never leave your traveling companion and yes, it’s the sunscreen. Get the sunscreen which has good SPF and apply it on your skin gently before going out either for a beach ride or hiking. Keep on reapplying sunscreen after the intervals of 3-4 hours, if you’re outdoors for extended periods. Remember, always be friends with your sunscreen as it protects you from sunburn, premature aging, and pigmentation, ensuring your skin stays healthy no matter the destination.

5/11

Stick to your tried and tested product, don’t use anything else

While you travel, never ever try to experiment with the beauty products you use on your skin. Already if you are prone to outer atmosphere and different climates and then if you use newly unused products that you aren’t aware about, it may cause allergic reactions or irritations. Keep your routine simple and familiar to avoid unwanted surprises. Use skin products daily.

6/11

Keep yourself hydrated

Whenever you travel or plan an outing or go anywhere, remember to keep a small water bottle for yourself. Dehydration is one of the main culprits behind dry, flaky, and lackluster skin while traveling. So, in order to keep yourself hydrated and glowing for the entire day, drink plenty of water as it supports your skin’s natural glow, helps flush out toxins, and mitigates signs of fatigue.

7/11

Cleanse your skin and body twice

When you’re out and about, chances are there that you get dust, pollution, sweat all over your body. No matter how hard you try you come to a point where you look exhausted and this happens especially while you go out to explore new places. During that time, what you need to keep in mind is cleanse yourself twice, before going out and then after coming back from the place to your hotel or the house which you were staying in. Wash your face once in the morning to refresh and remove nighttime oils, and again at night to cleanse away the day’s impurities.

8/11

Pack multipurpose products

While you travel storage becomes an issue, because you feel like packing all the essentials and then move out. But when you are midway of packing you get to know that your stuff is half packed and the space is over. So, to avoid such circumstances do smart packing and buy multipurpose products which you can use for multiple things be it clothes or beauty products. For example, you can pack tees which go well with jeans and pants as well. Similarly, get balms which can be used for skin, lips and cuticles as well. This reduces clutter in your bag without compromising your needs.

9/11

Prioritize skin care and sleep routine

Travel days are interesting and relaxing but too much travelling could tire you and probable chances are there that it disrupts your sleep cycle. So, adequate rest is crucial for your skin care repair and rejuvenation. Aim for at least 7- 8 hours daily sleep and that is what can keep your skin hydrated. Remember, these hours of sleep are a crucial part of your beauty sleep. Use silk pillowcases, if possible, to reduce skin friction and take short naps as well.

10/11

Carry healthy snacks with you

While you travel, it is for sure your stomach is also traveling and you might feel hungry or have a craving too much in something. At that time, what you need to do is to carry some eatables which are good for your health and not something which might lead to constipation or loose motions. As nutrition plays an important role, carry fruits, nuts and antioxidant rich foods over greasy and fried options to keep your skin nourished from within.

11/11

Use clever storage hacks whenever you travel

Whenever you plan to travel, don’t always carry loads and loads of stuff. If you are a usual traveler, then you must know the clever storage hacks to carry more things in less space. Instead of packing multiple suitcases and backpacks. Even when you are packing your beauty and skin care products, store and pack it smartly. Use small contact lens cases for liquids like foundation or serums to avoid bulky bottles. Pocket size- perfume and roll on is much required when you travel. Also, store necklaces through straws to avoid tangling. These packing hacks help you stay organized and efficient.
