Frida Kahlo was an exceptional Mexican painter, known for her self-portraits. Be it her portraits in traditional dresses, to the ones where she painted Diego (her husband) on her forehead to imply how he was forever in her mind, she brought life into any canvas she touched.

One of her most famous paintings, ‘The Two Fridas’, shows two versions of her sitting side by side, with their hearts exposed and connected by veins.

Sayed Haider Raza, fondly known as S.H. Raza, was an Indian painter famous for his abstract works that brought together Indian symbols and spiritual themes. One of his most iconic symbols is the Bindu (a dot), which represents the point of creation and the vastness of the universe.
Another one of his paintings, ‘Saurashtra’, was sold for over 16 crore rupees back in 2010.
