We thought the expulsion of Rajasthan Royals came as a shock to its owners and players, but that isn’t the case, at least as far as the players are concerned. When we caught up with Siddharth Trivedi, one of the players of Rajasthan Royals, he shared, “Yes, I heard that RR and Kings XI were ejected from
IPL. But all players had known about it. It’d not affect the players who have played for the last 3 seasons, which accounts for 70% of the total strength of players.
We’re already in the safe zone and are on the auction list. The auction is to happen next month and players from both the teams will be roped into other teams.”
Trivedi hopes to be part of either Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) or the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Talking about things other than cricket, Siddharth said,“It’s navaratri time and I’m chilling out with my friends and playing dandiya every night. But what’s sad is that all the places close down by midnight. Abh woh maza nahi raha jo pehele hota tha.”
