Cruise travel continues to gain momentum
According to Rajeev Kale - President & Country Head, Holidays, MICE, Visa - Thomas Cook (India) Limited, cruise travel continues to attract people of all ages, including Gen Z, millennials, and young working professionals. “There’s a strong appetite for cruises due to the presence of high adrenaline activities onboard and affordable price points coupled with easy access to financial models,” says Rajeev, adding, “Travellers are also opting for river cruises to experience life in the slow lane, surrounded by nature and abundant opportunities to explore riverside towns and cities along the way.”


Travellers take the safari route
Summer bookings for safaris have also seen an uptick of 25 to 30% as per Daniel D’Souza, President & Country Head - Holidays, SOTC Travel, who says, “Bookings are coming in from multigenerational families, Gen Z, millennials, groups of friends, and couples. This demand is emerging not only from metros and mini-metros but also from Regional India’s tier 2 and 3 cities.”
