Ready to try the new ‘Ghost Photoshoot’ challenge?

There’s a new challenge that’s going viral on social media, which might have you looking your eeriest best. And it needs nothing but a bedsheet. Called the ‘Ghost Photoshoot’ challenge, it’s got people dressing up as ghosts in a dark background. They have their picture taken and then upload it with the hashtag #ghostphotoshoot. Guess what? The ghosts also wear glares in it to add a cool quotient to the dress up.

One Instagram post showed a group showed a group ‘ghosts’ with the caption: It’s spooky season baby... BOO �� #ghostphotoshoot #spookyseason. The post has 17K posts on Insta and counting. Some of the photos feature people in a forest setting, some around a tree, a stream, a lonely road and with their pets. The trend has also been criticised. Many have thought that the shoot reminded them of Ku Klux Klan robes. Others felt that it was just a harmless trend of dressing up like ghosts and posing for pictures. With Halloween coming up, is it going to give the festival of spooks a new flavour?
