Rashmika and Allu Arjun’s Saami Saami goes viral again but with a twist

The chart-topping number Sami Sami featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana is making it to the headlines again. However, this time around it’s garnering some international attention as the song was recently used on the popular show Never Have I Ever.

In the newest season of the OTT series, the main lead Devi Vishwakumar, played by Canadian actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and her cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) can be seen shaking a leg to the Tamil version of Sami Sami. On the show, Ramakrishnan’s character Devi is an Indian- American teen of Tamil descent; in the clip, she can be seen wearing a green sari when her cousin pulls her to the dance floor at an event.

Rashmika and Maitreyi also had a sweet exchange of words on Twitter. Reacting to the viral tweet, Rashmika tweeted, “Stunned! You did so good, sending you full love,” to which Maitreyi thanked the Pushpa actress and replied, “I will never have imposter syndrome about dancing again.”
