The World Jazz Festival returned to Pune, celebrating global jazz and providing a platform for cross-cultural musical exchange. In its sixth edition, the multicity festival, organised by Banyan Tree, brought a lineup of internationally acclaimed jazz musicians to audiences.
Held at the Pune International Centre, the event drew a packed audience. This year’s edition featured a blend of classic American standards with contemporary influences from Europe, Africa and Latin America. The performances were marked by improvisations, rich musical storytelling and the timeless spirit of jazz. A standout highlight of the evening was the seamless collaboration between global artistes and Indian musicians.
