Prosenjit and Rituparna's 50th film premieres at Nandan

Kaushik Ganguly's recent theatrical release Ajogya, featuring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta, premiered at Nandan on Saturday. This film marks their 50th film together.

Besides Prosenjit and Rituparna, veteran actors Lily Chakravarty and Shilajit Majumder, who were part of the cast, graced the event. Also present were seasoned actors Ranjit Mallick and Madhabi Mukherjee.

Ajogya tells the story of Raktim Majumdar , played by Shilajit Majumder, once an ordinary banker now stay-at-home father desperately seeking employment. His wife, Parna, played by Rituparna Sengupta, compelled by circumstances, secures a job at an investment firm. All seems well until Raktim's confidant, Prosen, played by Prosenjit Chatterjee, enters their lives unexpectedly.

According to Kaushik Ganguly, this is a very unique love story, and Prosenjit and Rituparna have not appeared in this kind of story before. The music of the film is composed by Anupam Roy, Indradip Dasgupta, and Ranajoy Bhattacharjee.
