Prince William’s emotional confession: ‘Our family couldn’t cope without Kate’

Pouring his heart out to the world, Prince William’s recently expressed his feelings about how proud he is of his wife, Kate Middleton, as she gets back to her work after beating cancer. Here’s all he confessed in a rare interview with Heart FM.

A big trip abroad
Kate Middleton, the 44-year-old Princess of Wales, just went on her first trip abroad since she got better from cancer. The two-day trip took her to Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy for her work with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. On Heart FM Prince William talked to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston about Kate's progress. He said he is "proud, very proud" of her going back to international work.


Taking it easy
William said Kate is an " mum" and "amazing wife " and their family needs her. He said she has been through a lot and was really looking forward to the trip. When asked about international trips William said they will take things easy for now. He said Kate is getting back into trips slowly, making sure she has time to rest.


Family news
Kate first told everyone about her cancer in 2024. She stopped doing work to focus on her health and later said she was in remission. William also joked about their morning routine with their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. He playfully asked them to get ready on time. The couple met at St. Andrews University in the 2000s. They got engaged in 2010. Had a big royal wedding the next year.
