Poster of Ashoke Viswanathan’s upcoming film unveiled

Filmmaker Ashoke Viswanathan of Shunya Theke Shuru and Byatikrami fame is all set to offer audiences a new film viewing experience through a film named Hemanter Aparanha. The poster launch of the film recently took place at a city venue, in presence of National Award winning filmmaker Goutam Ghose and the stellar cast of the film. The film is a dynamic and dramatic visual exploration of the tensions of life during the Pandemic and also of the atmosphere in a world stirred and shaken by the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Commenting on what to expect from the film, Ashoke said, “The film, being shot in and around Kolkata, is set during the pandemic and explores the behind-the-scenes situation in the theatre world and the struggles of artists.”
The film features Anusha Viswanathan, Rwitobroto Mukherjee and Satyapriya Mukhopadhyay in pivotal roles, while the supporting cast includes Bidipta Chakraborty. The music of the film has been composed by Gourab Chatterjee with songs by Lokhichara, and Joydeep Bhowmik is the cinematographer. National award winning artiste Arghyakamal Mitra has edited the film.
