MICA's Chota is a huge attraction among students

College canteens are not just a place to eat, but a sentiment that resonates with every college student.

MICA’s canteen, popularly known as Chota offers some delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items. Wooden cartons and discarded tyre swings for seats, the rustic feel of the canteen is a huge attraction, and the lip smacking food is just an added advantage.

“My friends and I keep coming to Chota in between classes, mostly to drink something because it’s very hot here. The nimbu paani and the naariyal paani is quite a hit here. The prices are quite reasonable too, which is great because we are usually on a student’s budget. Chota is a perfect place to take a break in between classes. We come here to catch up between lectures to cool off. I love the sandwiches here,” says Kudrat Harna, a first year student.
