Travel platform rolls out pan-India airport cab service
Travel platform ixigo has introduced Airport Cabs, a new offering aimed at providing reliable and cost-effective transfers to and from major airports across the country. The service focuses on on-time pick-ups and zero last-minute cancellations, helping travellers manage the first and last mile of their journeys with greater ease.
Users can book rides through the app or website by selecting the 'Airport Cabs' option, entering trip details, choosing a preferred vehicle and completing payment. First-time cab bookers can avail a flat 50 per cent discount of up to Rs 200, while returning users are eligible for 20 per cent off, up to Rs 100. Bookings can be scheduled up to 90 days in advance and are available pan-India. Travellers can choose from hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs/MPVs, luxury cars and eco-friendly options such as electric and CNG vehicles. Fares include airport entry charges, tolls, state taxes and driver allowance, along with 30 minutes of free waiting time and free cancellation up to 30 minutes before pick-up. A 24x7 SOS support feature is also available.
