#HumFitTohIndiaFit video by FTII students to be released on Independence Day
Students at FTII were given a fitness challenge by colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister for Information & Broadcasting. In response, the students of the institute got together to do something that has not been done before at FTII. They are making a #HumFitTohIndiaFit music video which has been penned, edited and shot at the institute by its staff and students.
On the first day of the institute’s open day, visitors were in for a surprise as they got the opportunity to witness a flash mob presented by the students to generate awareness on fitness. The open day allows visitors to tour the campus.
Some visitors also joined in with the flash mob as it was being shot for a video being filmed by the FTII students. “In response to the fitness challenge by Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Anupam Kher, FTII Chairman, the institute is producing a music video to mark Independence Day, 2018. The video, complete with choreographed dance sequence, lyrics and music on the theme of physical fitness is an in-house production. It will be released on August 15 on the Institute’s social media page. This is the first time that FTII is producing a music video for a national cause,” quips Varun Bhardwaj, Registrar at FTII who is spearheading this initiative.
FTII has geared up to release the Hum Fit Toh India Fit song and video on August 15 2018. The music is composed by the students- Anurag, Roheit and Shubham, wheras Jasraj Joshi, has lent his voice for the song.
The video for the song is directed by Milind Damle, assistant professor at FTII.
