The city’s Bengali community celebrated Kali Pujo on Monday, painting the night in hues of red, black, and the divine feminine energy. Dedicated to Goddess Kali and her many avatars, the festival mirrors the grandeur of
Diwali. From glowing diyas , incense filling the air, and midnight rituals echoing with powerful chants, the fest was celebrated with passion, reverence, and unbridled festivity. Apart from puja rituals, feasting and shopping for Bengali handicraft products were also on the agenda for the celebration.
