College was fun

We spotted cricketer Anjum Chopra at a fashion event recently and while all the women on the ramp were seen in white gowns and glam dresses, Anjum chose to go with a pantsuit.
“I don’t have a white dress or a gown or a sari. I went with the closest option which is this,” she said. She also told us about her school and college days in Delhi.
Not many know that this Stephanian was not always a cricket player in college.“I used to play basketball at state level in college. I still go back and play whenever we have tournaments,” she said.
What is it about college that she misses then? I still remember how at the last minute we used to run around asking for tutorials and study just enough to pass. It was all fun. You know, I love basketball so much that at times, I have missed my cricket practice to play a game of basketball,” she reminisces.
