Bengaluru swimmer Niranjan Mukundan, on the sportspersons who've inspired him

Bengaluru-based paralympic swimmer Niranjan Mukundan has been keeping himself busy during the lockdown. Currently honing his piano skills, Niranjan talks about six sportspersons who have inspired him, on #QuickTakesWithBangaloreTimes...

1. Rahul Dravid: He has been my role model from the start. I have grown up watching him play and I was lucky enough because he was the mentor to one of the foundations I am associated with and I got to work under him.

2. Michael Phelps: He is one of the best Olympians and the best swimmer til date. He is obviously someone I look up to from the same sport.

3. Adam Peaty: I was fortunate to train with Adam Peaty. He is the fastest breaststroke swimmer in the world as of now and I am a big fan of his.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo: I love Cristiano. I've been a fan of his football skills and love him off field too. He is the best.

5. PV Sindhu: Who can forget her medal win at Rio. She is a star. I've been a big fan of her and like how she plays.

6. MC Mary Kom: I have always admired Mary Kom. She's been a big idol to me and will continue to be, always.
