Beautiful Life brings Tota and Rituparna together on screen

Director R D Nath’s film Beautiful Life revolves around a painter’s life. “People’s lives are becoming mundane day by day, unhappy, and uninteresting. The film tries to find a solution to that, and it shows how medical science mixed with painting can be of help to bring happiness in everyone’s life,” said the director.
Produced by Macneill Engineering Ltd and presented by Pradip Churiwal, the film releases in theatres today. Rituparna Sengupta and Tota Roy Choudhury who play the leads in the film talk to CT about their new film and more.

This is a psychological drama which also deals with relationship issues. I play Barnali, a complex character who’s a painter. Tota played my hero in Prabhat Ray’s Andolon long time back, and now working with him again was a pleasure – Rituparna

I play a painter’s character in this film and the relationship with Rituparna in this movie is a deep connection beyond just the physical. Working with her is a joy as my second film as a hero was with her. We had a great time shooting– Tota
