Actress Sandhya Roy stable after emergency hospitalisation

Veteran actress Sandhya Roy was admitted to a multi-specialty hospital in the city. On Saturday, the actress was rushed to the hospital's emergency facility after experiencing palpitations accompanied by uneasiness. The hospital administration has released a statement stating that the octogenarian actress underwent ECG, echocardiography, 24-hour Holter monitoring, and relevant blood tests. According to them, Sandhya Roy is now hemodynamically stable and maintaining oxygen saturation. A three-member medical team is closely monitoring her health status.

In 2021, she was admitted to the same hospital when she contracted Covid and successfully recovered. Sandhya Roy began acting in the sixties. Some of her notable films include Antariksha, Maya Mriga, Kathin Maya, Palatak, Ganadevata, Dadar Kirti, Bhrantibilas, and Satya Mithya.
