A CSR initiative bridging the fashion world with girl-child empowerment
Four jewellery brands from Eastern India came together in Kolkata along with their models to walk for an empowerment and corporate social responsibility initiative. A fashion show was recently organized in the city, the proceeds of which will be donated for the education and empowerment of the girl child. Speaking at the event, Samit Bhatta a retail jeweler from East India said, “We hope that the initiative touches the lives of the community at the grass root level.
Talking about the noble initiative, Suvankar Sen, MD and CEO of another jewellery brand said, "It delights us to be a part of an association that combines fashion and community service in such an amazing way. I believe that this initiative will set an example of fashion and community service going together.”
Present at the occasion were also Payel Mukherjee, Sayantika Guha Thakurta, Bulbuli Panja and former Miss India Ushoshi Sengupta.
