What is Elon Musk's religion, his beliefs on God & higher power

One of the most influential and talked-about men of the 21st century is Elon Musk. He is an entrepreneur, an engineer, and a tech giant who will shape history in many ways. Be it Tesla, SpaceX or even Neuralink, Elon Musk has reached levels of greatness.
Plus, his partnership with US President Donald Trump, and his support (and eventual fallout) with him, has ensured that the world knows Musk’s name in more than one way.

Elon Musk stays in the news for multiple reasons. Be it the latest news from the companies he leads, the cutting-edge science and innovation his team is responsible for, his eccentric social media tweets, his controversial views, his personal life and ‘endless wives’, and so much more.
And quite recently, Musk came into headlines when he claimed that Trump’s name was on a controversial list, and eventually deleted the post.

Elon Musk was born into a Christian family and has often spoken about his religious background. In several interviews, Musk has said that he was baptized as a Christian and went to Anglican Sunday School, where he grew up hearing stories and tales of religion.
But as he grew up, he did not strictly follow Christian doctrine or attend church regularly, but rather kept a certain respect for the values, traditions, and culture associated with Christianity.

In one of his interviews, Musk called himself a ‘Cultural Christian’, and talked about how he believed in the common teachings of Christianity. Themes like forgiveness, putting forward the other cheek, and other teachings that he termed as ‘good and wise’.
The Tesla CEO was in a conversation with Jordan Peterson when he said this, and also remarked that Christianity’s teachings could bring the best happiness to humanity.

When talking about the belief in God, Musk remarked in an interview that the belief in a higher power was present in him, but the belief that there is a God who judges people on their morals and overlooks every action that is happening on Earth was sketchy.
Why? Well, the Tech Mogul claimed that if overlooking every action part was true, there were some evil things that would have stopped.

When it comes to the idea of a higher power, Elon Musk has said that while he does not outrightly reject religion, even saying that the teachings of Christianity could actually help people, he does not embrace a religion in a very orthodox way. His statements say that while he is open to the idea of God, he does not conform to orthodox beliefs.
Rather than accepting religious doctrine on faith, Musk relies on logic, science, and reason, but also does not rule out the idea that some cosmic order, creator, or force might be behind the existence of the universe.
