What is the Shri Yantra?

The Shri Yantra, also called Shri Chakra, is a geometrical diagram that is considered sacred across cultures, and is used by people for spiritual and religious sadhanas. It has nine interlocking triangles that form a central point known as the Bindu, and is believed to be a symbol of the divine powers, both feminine and masculine. It has triangles that are surrounded by circles, lotus petals, and a square with four gates.
And while to people it might look like just another design, there is a certain power in this Yantra that many harness to fulfill their wishes and desires. It is believed that meditating upon or even being around a correctly made Shri Yantra can balance energies, remove obstacles, and bring abundance in life.

How is the Shri Yantra used?

The Shri Yantra is used in many different ways, be it meditation, deep sadhana, wishing, and much more. People focus on the center of the Shri Yantra, and it is believed to put people in a deep concentration. Some people also chant mantras while thinking about the Yantra, and believe that it amplifies their energy.
And so, people keep a Shri Yantra at home, carved in metal or crystal, and it helps them attract peace and prosperity.

The Dol Ashram

One of the most beautiful Ashrams in the world, surrounded by forest, greenery, fruit trees, animals, and more, is the Dol Ashram. People looking for a space to relax, quiet down, concentrate, or forward their spiritual practice visit the Dol Ashram and are never disappointed. There is a sense of calm all over the space, and the Ashram itself is away from the noise and clutter of cities.
It is a large Ashram right between the Pine forests, and is the perfect place to be for people who are looking for some peace and calm.

The largest Shri Yantra

Inside the Dol Ashram is believed to be the world’s largest Shri Yantra. In a temple-like building where photography is strictly prohibited lies a Yantra that people believe to be strong, amplifying, and of course, extremely positive. The Yantra is covered in flowers, leaves, fabrics, and much more, and within that temple are floors that look so geometrically accurate.
When people visit the Dol Ashram, and the room where the Shri Yantra is kept, they feel a strong stillness and calm within them. No chatter, no conversations, no noise, nothing. Just pure silence and energy.

The majestic statue of Lord Shiva

Adding to the grandeur of Dol Ashram is the statue of Lord Shiva right inside the gates of the Ashram. Lord Shiva is surrounded by trees and other animal statues, and on his face is a very serene and meditative look. He is shown as a Yogi, and his presence in the Ashram looks both appealing and powerful.
The statue is dominantly white in colour, and shows Lord Shiva in meditation position.

A Gurukul system of education

Dol Ashram is not just famous for the Shri Yantra inside, but also how it houses and teaches many little children, in the Gurukul style. Dressed in orange and saffron robes and with a shaved head, little children sit together for their classes in halls, meditate, pray, play around, and learn the many lessons of life.
They are taught about Yoga, meditation, scriptures, and have set times for waking up, working in the Ashram, and the likes.
