6 things to never touch if you find them on the road; Here’s why

These 6 things lying on the road could be CURSED!

Did you know that the roads are often used by people to spread evil and negativity? Be it through rituals that involve ‘Nimbu mirchi’, or through spices that are scattered around in certain patterns, they are often a sign of trouble.
So, here we mention six things to maintain distance from if you see them on the roads.

2/7

Kumkum and sindoor

Kumkum, or Sindoor, is a red-coloured powder (sometimes orange) that is used by married women and is seen as a mark of their marital status. But unfortunately, this isn't the only thing Kumkum is used for.
It is believed that in certain practices, generally associated with black magic, Sindoor and kumkum are used to call upon negative entities, cast spells, and invite doom onto someone. And so, if you find sindoor on the road, especially in certain patterns, or with spices and other objects, it is best to stay away from it and not pass through or touch it.

3/7

Burnt coconut

In certain Indian rituals, coconut is used in positive ways. It is used in protection, offering to the deities, and the like. But, burnt coconut on the other hand is bad news. When burnt coconuts are left on roads or outside homes, they are mostly believed to be part of a ceremony that was done to ward off any evil or remove evil energies from people.
And so, if you find a burnt coconut, it is best to not touch it or try to keep it away. These coconuts are used to trap negative energies, and if you try to meddle with them, the energy might stick to you.

4/7

Hair - burnt or in a bunch

Hair is a certain part of the human body that is immensely used in black magic and to spread evil intentions towards someone. And so, we are always told to never throw our hair here and there, or let it be in someone else’s hand.
If you find loose strands of hair lying around, it is best to not cross them or touch them as they might have been used for voodoo-like purposes.

5/7

Cloves and betel leaf

Cloves and betel leaves are also commonly used in rituals, both positive and negative. Betel leaves are often offered to Gods, and cloves are used in spiritual rituals. But, at times, a combination of these two is used to perform black magic on someone or spread evil intentions against people they do not even know.
And so, if you find cloves sticking to betel leaf, or plucked through the leaf, it is best to not touch it or pick it up. When the cloves are stuck through the leaf, it might indicate that it was part of a ritual, probably evil, and should not be meddled with.

6/7

Odd dolls

Dolls, voodoo and otherwise, are kind of creepy. And when they are odd-looking, it is for the best to stay away from them! Since time immemorial dolls have been used in occult practices and evil rituals, and are used to control people and cause them harm.
So, if you come across a creepy doll that you feel has been intentionally placed there, or it has pins and needles, and other sharp things stuck into it, it is best to stay away from it as much as possible.

7/7

Candles

If you are casually strolling through the road and see a lit candle on the footpath, or even in the middle of the road, it is best to stay as far away as possible from it. Candles are often used in black magic and occult practices and are seen as offerings to evil spirits.
If you see a lit candle that is covered with red powder, or black ash, it is best to not meddle with it or try to kick it away. If it was a part of a ritual, you would be disturbing it which can result in that evil being directed towards you.
