Work-life balance - Enjoy the small moments
Managing work-life balance: There is NO balance. It's extremes all the way. Either, I am working so single-mindedly that I cannot focus on the `life balance' aspect or I am relishing a particular moment of my life. At this moment, I am enjoying seeing my spectacular rose blooms -I planted 3,000 roses in the garden in February. It's important to enjoy the little things in life.

Like flowers, I enjoy the first warmth of spring, a cup of steaming tea and a great book. I manage my work and life even though I'm in four continents in a year Asia, America, Europe and Africa.
Being a fit woman: I manage my fitness regimen by doing yoga, walking, swimming and ayurvedic de-toxing. Sometimes, just laughing in the company of old friends is the best de-stressor.
Energy high and happiness: Looking deeply and daily at the angelic faces of my three boys Jad, Kais and Jai.
Risk take or a micro-planner: I take risks and micro-plan my business. I am also a decision taker for good or bad. I can handle it.
Handling failure and success: Hopefully with equal aplomb and resilience. I am not a victim, I'm a survivor.
Crisis management: My life has been a series of crisis management moments from ever since I was in my 20s, when my father was assassinated by ULFA militants. It's really how you get up and face life that sets you apart.
Icon for work-life balance: Gloria Steinham, Patti Smith.
