A US-based company which ran with a strength of 110 employees, in one sweep fired over 99 employees for missing a meeting on Slack. The company which had a strength of 110 is now running with just 11 employees. This major termination from the CEO has faced a lot of criticism, after a Reddit user, who claimed to be the company's intern shared a screenshot from slack and it had the CEO's explosive message.

The CEO, identified as Baldvin, accused the employees of failing to meet their contractual obligations and his angry message on the screenshot read, "For those who did not show up to the meeting this morning; consider this your official notice: you're all fired." The intern mentioned that the entire office was fired within an hour after they started work and this move was made after the 99 employees missed the morning meeting on slack.

The criticism targeting the CEO stated that the company should have notified the employees about the meeting, and many accused the company for not informing prior leading to a widespread absence. The CEO of the company claimed that the employees' absence reflected their lack of seriousness about the opportunities provided by the company. He wrote, "Out of 110 people, only 11 were present this morning/ Those 11 get to stay. The rest of you are terminated. Get the f*** out of my business right now."

Many reddit users reacted to this and said that the company should have informed the importance of the meeting otherwise they would not have made a mass absence. One even noted that the company might be neck deep in debt and that the CEO used this as an opportunity to terminate them.
