Attract positive energy to your workstation

If you have been working in a dingy, dark place, and you know you have been feeling stressed out and nothing is going right then you ought to follow 5 of these Feng Shui rules. They will help you attract all those much needed positive vibes to your workstation and ;leave you feeling good at the end of the day.

2/6

Office desk position

The position of your office desk is very important as per Feng Shui. It should be placed in the farthest spot from your room’s entrance. This affects your motivation and the spirit to get your work done. It should be facing the front door to your office. The Feng Shui reasoning here is that when you face the main door, you are welcoming opportunities and good vibes. If your back is towards the door then you will feel anxious and stressed out a number of times because you won’t know who is entering through the door behind your back.

3/6

Desk size

The size of your desk should not be too big or too small. It should be able to hold all your office supplies that you need every day. Many interior designers who follow Feng Shui, suggest an L-shaped desk or a kidney-shaped desk.

4/6

The wall hangings

If you want to attract positive vibes, decorate the workplace with positive and inspiring objects and quotes. Make sure the colours make you feel good and do not cause any kind of stress. Like some people feel uneasy with red hangings.

5/6

Natural light

Make sure the room where you work has a lot of natural light flowing in. There should be a proper window where you can put blinds or curtains but when you work, keep them open so that your room is not entirely dark.

6/6

Plants

Plants are always welcome. They add a freshness to your room wherever you are. Decorate a bit with some air purifying plants like money plant, a jade plant, bonsai or a pothos placed where it that can receive natural light in the morning.
