3 simple productive hacks to follow while working from home
Working from home can be overwhelming too. Here are 3 simple productive hacks while you are working from home.
HAVE A REGULAR SCHEDULE
Just because you're not going to office that does not mean that you will give your morning rituals a miss. Stick to your schedule as that gives one a sense of purpose. Planning your day in advance also helps. As says Priya Menon, a professional, “Having a regular schedule really helps me focus better. I also make little To-Do lists for the day so that I know exactly what all I have to finish in a day’s work.”
HAVE A WORKSTATION
Vishal Mehta, CEO of Infibeam says, “Create a workstation that makes you feel like you're at an "office," this helps you maintain good posture, avoid distractions, and leave your work behind at the end of the day. Thirdly, if you work on a team, make sure to check in regularly just like you would in the office. Create to-do lists to keep yourself organized and focused, and share the status of your lists with your reporting manager so they know you're on top of your work.”
HAVE A LIFE BEYOND WORK
It’s necessary to have a life beyond work. Make sure to follow your interests or passions so that you add more to your life. Having a life beyond work adds more productivity to your work and also gives a sense of work life balance. Anand Kumar, a professional, says, “2020 was one of the toughest years of my life. I was completely lost in the earlier months of working from home as my life was only consumed by work. Cooped up in a small apartment made my life more difficult. After that I started taking calligraphy classes online and my weekends were devoted to this beautiful art form. Slowly, I gathered myself and I must say it improved my work life too.
