The official Instagram page of Wimbledon shared a picture of the Champ with the puppy who was sleeping in her hands. They captioned the image: “Now we have two champions on stage. At her homecoming in Kazakhstan, Elena Rybakina was introduced to a rather sleepy pup named Champion. As well as supporting Kazakhstan’s young players, Rybakina also plans to use her profile to support dog shelters following her Wimbledon triumph.”

Rybakina is an animal lover and she has many pictures of her and many other furry animals on her Instagram. Her picture stash also includes a kangaroo and a joey that she met in Australia. You can also see her dogs. In a Wimbledon interview, the champion said: “I love animals. I have a dog, a beagle named Mulia.”
