3 reasons by why it is difficult for today's generation to find love
With evolving time, modern relationships too have become complex which has made finding true love an unfulfilled dream for many. From love-bombing to ghosting, there are a host of new jargons that describe the complexity of modern love and relationships. But, why is it so difficult for today's generation to find true love? In a recent video posted on social media, spiritual leader Gauranga Das shared his views on this. Here's what he said:
"People aren't letting go of the past"
Elaborating this, Gauranga Das said in the video, "Everyone is still holding on to someone who left, some ex whose memories they are stuck in, chasing closure, or hopiing that they will come back. In the process, people ignore the one person who genuinely values them." And truly so. How often have you wasted your time and energy on the wrong people, just to regret it later? Remember, what's truly your will come back to you, no matter what. And what or who didn't, they were never meant to be in your life in the long run.
"People have normalised making everything casual"
"When things get even slightly serious, people take a U-turn. Everyone wants the perks of love but without the responsibilities. They want the connection, without any commitment," he further said. But that's not how love and relationships work. True love is unconditional and the more you give, the more you receive.
"They are scared of getting hurt again"
"People have been through pain before, so now they are scared of love. In that fear of failing again, of going through the same heartbreak again, they don't give love a second chance," he said. However, one should have faith in God and oneself. As Shri Krishna said in the Bhagavad Gita, "Whatever happened, happened for the good. Whatever is happening, is happening for the good. Whatever will happen, will also happen for the good." Believe that you can find love again, and you surely will.
