Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat separate after 20 years of marriage?
Ace Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is much in the news again, but this time due to his personal life. A report by a leading media house speculated trouble in Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat's personal lives, after it was noted that the couple has unfollowed each other on social media. Virendra Sehwag and Aarti are married for 20 years, and this development has lead to rumours of their divorce.
Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat got married in 2004, and they have two sons together: Aaryavir, who was born in 2007, and Vedant, who was born in 2010.
Sehwag's elder son, Aaryavir is a cricketer just like his father. In November 2024, Aaryavir was close to scoring a triple century, just like his father, in the Cooch Behar Trophy playing from Delhi against Meghalaya. Apparently Sehwag's career best score is of 319 and he had earlier said that if his son breaks his record, he would gift him a Ferrari. In this context, Sehwag had taken to X where he wrote, "Well played @aaryavirsehwag. Missed a Ferrari by 23 runs. But well done, keep the fire alive and may you score many more daddy hundreds and doubles and triples. Khel jaao.."
Sehwag' younger son Vedant is also pursuing cricket, thus continuing the legacy of his iconic father.
While Sehwag still has old posts and pictures of the couple together, it is noted that in the last few months he hasn't posted any pictures with his wife. For instance, in Diwali 2024, he posted pictures with his sons and mother, however, Aarti was missing in the pictures. More recently, he posted his pictures after visiting the Vishwa Nagayakshi temple in Palakkad, Kerala. However, again, Aarti was missing in the pictures. Meanwhile, Aarti Ahlawat has a private account on social media.

Rumours are rife on social media that Virender Sehwag and his wife Aarti Ahlawat are separating after 20 years of togetherness, however, both Virender and Aarti have remained mum about the news. The duo have not commented on it or issued any statement yet.
