Tom Cruise’s friends are plotting his next romance and the name will surprise you
After his breakup with Ana de Armas in October 2025, the two were together for around nine months, the Mission: Impossible star is once again finding his love life under the spotlight. And this time, it’s not paparazzi doing the nudging, but his own inner circle.
An insider claimed that friends in both their circles feel the two actors would actually make a lot of sense together - not just because they’re in the same stage of life, but because they’re said to connect emotionally too.
“There’s this feeling among people who know them that Tom and Meg could really click,” the source shared. “Not in a flashy, headline-grabbing way, but in a genuine, grown-up way.”
Apparently, the matchmaking isn’t happening with big dinners or dramatic setups. It’s all pretty subtle. Friends are said to be casually trying to create chances for the two to spend more time around each other, without making it obvious or awkward.
“Nothing loud or public is happening right now,” the insider added. “But a lot of people quietly think this pairing actually makes sense. That’s why there’s so much low-key rooting for it behind the scenes.”
Whether Cruise is even interested in jumping back into dating remains unclear. But those close to him seem hopeful that he might find something more meaningful this time around - especially after his short-lived romance with Ana de Armas, which first made headlines around Valentine’s Day in early 2025 before fizzling out later that year.
For now, it’s all whispers, gentle nudges, and crossed fingers from friends who seem determined to play Cupid - whether Tom’s ready for it or not.
