Tina Ambani calls daughter-in-law Krisha Shah a ‘new energy in the house’

When a son gets married, the mother is ecstatic. Her son not only begins a new journey in life but she also gains a daughter. One such mom is Tina Ambani, who has flooded her own Instagram account with beautiful pictures from her son’s wedding. From haldi ceremony to the mehendi, the photographs exude sheer joy all beautiful traditional Hindu weddings bring. Sharing some of these pictures, Tina called her daughter-in-law Krisha Shah, “a new energy in the house” and this has netizens smiling with warmth.

Anil and Tina Ambani’s elder son Anmol got married to Krisha Shah in Mumbai and the wedding pictures on social media have been trending ever since. But what we all waited for were the official pictures shared by the new mother-in-law. She shared pictures with the caption: “Welcoming our daughter! Blessed and overjoyed as Khrisha enters our home. A new chapter for Anmol, a new energy in the house, a new beginning for us all. Gratitude”.

Next up is the picture of the two sons and the parents praying together before the wedding festivities began. She captioned the picture: “Invoking the blessings of the Lord!”

In this image, the family can be seen taking part in the Mandva Muhurat, a Gujarati ritual with a deep religious meaning. The parents of both the groom and the bride seek blessings of Mother Earth and then dig for some soil to make a mandap to perform the wedding rituals.

Here is a picture from the mehendi ceremony where the would-be-bride Krisha is glowing with Anmol and Tina on her either sides.

She also shared an image of her blessing Anmol with haldi or turmeric which is a part of a pre-wedding ceremony, also known as Mameru or Mosalu in Gujarati.

Over the years, the typical imagery of the mother-in-law and daughter in-law relationship has changed for the better. The two women in most cases, try to become friends and they do get along, unlike what we see on Indian TV shows where either of the two are “vamps”.
