Check out for these signs

People who manipulate others do it very subtly, which makes it difficult for the victim to identify if they are being manipulated or not. This emotional control over a person is an unhealthy show of emotions and feelings. This steers towards negativity more than possessiveness or jealousy in a relationship. Hence, it becomes all the more important to be aware of whether your partner is manipulating you subtly or not. Here are some telltale signs that suggest you are being manipulated.

2/6

Feeling guilty and sad

When you are being constantly manipulated, you will find yourself feeling sad, disappointed and guilty of something, all the time. This constant feeling of self-depreciation arises when your partner manipulates you into thinking that you’re not enough.

3/6

Questioning oneself

You will spend a lot of time questioning yourself why you aren’t enough. When you’re with a manipulative partner, you will constantly doubt your decisions, abilities and thought processes, mainly because you won’t have much control over your feelings.

4/6

Conditions

The worst part about having a manipulative partner is that there will always be conditions for their love. They will always get back to you about doing something, in return for their love. They will subconsciously make you feel bad if you choose not to do certain things.

5/6

Using insecurities

If your partner is manipulative, they will use your insecurities against you. You will feel like you are being constantly put on the spot about your weaknesses and your worst moments.

6/6

Turn others against you

Your manipulative partner will try to turn others against you by speaking ill and negative things. You will find yourself getting distanced by your close ones. You will also end up feeling left out and alone.
