Sangram and Payal's love story
The contestants on the reality TV show, Lock Upp had a visit from their loved ones and it was a very emotional scene that brought everyone to tears. Actress Payal Rohatgi, a contestant on the show particularly had a cherry on the top as her beau, renowned wrestler Sangram Singh proposed to her for marriage. With happiness evident on Payal’s face, the two embraced each other. The couple had been engaged to each other for over 12 years. The fateful meeting
Sangram and Payal met in the most dramatic way possible. Payal was almost stranded on the Delhi-Agra highway and was in a very messy state. And that’s when Sangram stopped his car and asked Payal if she required his help. They exchanged numbers but that call never took place. It was next, on Survivor India, a reality TV show where the two had met again.
Falling in love
They both were contestants on the show, Survivor India and then, love struck. Their friendship and bond is indeed special. They met in 2011 and started living together for three years. Then in 2014, they got engaged on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.
The proposal
They confessed their feelings for each other on the reality TV show, Big Boss. they had also announced that they would marry soon after, but their plans got delayed. Since then, their wedding plans have gotten delayed even more due to their work commitments. Until recently, Sangram paid a visit to Payal in Lock Upp where he proposed to her with marriage.
Their equation as a couple
They both adore each other. Sangram had once mentioned that, despite both of them being control freaks, they equally love each other. They are very understanding as a couple. They both have changed and helped each other to grow as individuals.
