The campaign aimed at highlighting the role of meaningful connections in modern relationships. The campaign features real stories of couples who met on the app, presented through film and photography, to show what love looks like in today’s world.
The campaign is supported by new research on dating trends. While 15% of respondents described dating as “exhausting”, many continue to engage with it more intentionally. Over half of participants (55%) believe dating apps can lead to real love. Nearly one in five said they had an experience on a dating app that restored their belief in love, and 45% know someone who has found a lasting relationship this way.
The study also revealed how people define love today. Emotional depth is seen as important, with 43% wanting to be valued for who they are, 40% linking love to emotional safety, and 37% describing it as building something real with a partner who understands them. “This campaign is about reminding people why love is worth believing in and how at Bumble we are committed to building a dating experience rooted in trust, emotional depth, and intention.” said Whitney Wolfe Herd, Founder and CEO of Bumble “For The Love of Love” is our love letter to the people who are still showing up for something real. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt discouraged by modern dating, but hasn’t given up on the idea that honest, deep, meaningful love is still out there.
We want to create space for that kind of connection.”
The campaign includes personal stories from users in India. Trishina and Mihika, who met in Mumbai, spoke of finding space to be open and honest in their relationship. Muskaan and Aashish, from Bangalore, shared how their connection grew from a first swipe to travel, a viral video, and eventually a proposal in Japan.
Alongside the campaign, the app is introducing new features such as photo prompts, mandatory phone number and ID verification, and updates focused on safety and support. The initiative will roll out globally across digital and offline platforms.
