Japan trip details

During Perry’s Tokyo tour stop, the couple joined former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko, for lunch on December 3. Kishida later shared a group photo beside a Christmas tree on X, referring to Perry as Trudeau’s “partner’’ in Japanese. In his post, he recalled working closely with Trudeau as fellow world leaders and expressed happiness at maintaining their friendship.
