His Story/Her Story: My wife gets agitated when I ask her to share her live location

His Story: Whenever I ask my wife to share her location with me or I call her to know where she is, she gets furious with me. My intention is not to spy on her but it is more out of concern. I know she is independent but I am worried about her safety and I don't understand what is the harm in just keeping me informed? I do not ever stop her from going anywhere she wants but she gets extremely upset when I ask her about her whereabouts.My father also asks my mother but my mother never has any issues.Her Story:My husband has this annoying habit of asking me for my location not just when I am out with friends or on “me time” but even when I am with my mother. My ma and me are both independent women and I do not understand why he needs to know everything. I feel suffocated when he does that. Yes it must be out of concern but there is something called space. I am not new to the city, I have lived here every single day of my existence! If his mother likes to be monitored constantly, it's her choice.I am not like that.
