Here’s how mentally strong people deal with REJECTION

Here's how you do it

Rejection in life is something that leaves people “hataash” and many feel “haara hua” too. But then we have some folks who are super positive and mentally very strong so they take rejection in their stride and never let anything pull them down. Seeing everything as “half glass full” is second to their nature. So if you too want to be that person who takes less stress no matter what the situation is then all you have to do is keep these 5 things in mind! Be that mentally strong person and deal with rejection like a boss by quickly scrolling down and bookmarking this page!

2/6

Acknowledge your emotions

The first step to dealing with any emotional issue, especially rejection, is to acknowledge what you are truly feeling. Many people lock their emotions, hide how they really feel, and do not let their own minds accept that the scenario has hurt them. Admitting that something has embarrassed you or disappointed you or even discouraged you is the first step to battling the strong emotions rejection can leave you with.

3/6

Know the upside of rejection

When you are rejected it should not be taken negatively. Mentally strong people look at the bright side and they know that rejection serves as proof that they're living life to the fullest. They are already mentally ready for some more rejections and they do not run away from that. When you get rejected for a project, passed up for a job, or turned down by a friend, you'll know you're putting yourself out there.

4/6

Compassion

Instead of calling themselves stupid, mentally strong people treat themselves with compassion. They avoid negative self-talk and believe more in affirmations for self-healing. Beating yourself up is never a good idea.

5/6

They don’t let rejection define you

Those who are mentally strong do not let the idea of being rejected take them down. They do not declare themselves incompetent, something many people tend to do. They do not call or conclude themselves as unlovable. They take it in their stride and do not let a single incident or other person’s opinion affect them.

6/6

They learn from rejection

There is always a lesson to learn from anything negative that has happened in our lives including rejection. Mentally strong people ask what they gained from the rejection. They go deep into the root cause and work on that for self-growth. They grow stronger with each rejection.
