Hacks to perfect the art of manipulation

How to manipulate people

Manipulation is not pleasant but sometimes under certain circumstances, it becomes necessary. If you are unable to do so then here is a crisp guide to mastering the twisted art of manipulation. Scroll down ASAP!

2/5

Use humor

If you want to be on board with manipulating and controlling people then one of the most lethal weapons you must develop is humor. Manipulative people do not abuse you outrightly. They use humor to say what they want under the garb of “being funny”. They indirectly also have the audacity to accuse you of not having any sense of humor if you do not react in a light way to their comment.

3/5

Change the subject

To avoid taking any responsibility, manipulators change the subject smoothly. But they do so in a very negative way. They judge the other person’s words and the direction in which the conversation is going and when they know that it is about to come their way and that person is about to point out something they did, manipulators quickly start bringing up errors that were made by the other, even if a while back. Those errors most of the time have nothing to do with the current circumstances. If you want to manipulate the situation then all you have to do is confuse or distract the other person from the actual subject to yourself.

4/5

Make them self doubt

A very popular way to manipulate a person is to gaslight them. This is all about using smart tricks and lies to make you doubt your own knowledge and sanity. When you say “you are not understanding”, “this never happened”, calling you crazy, and that is in fact far from the truth, it is nothing but manipulation.

5/5

Accusations

This is nothing to be proud of but to be a classic manipulator, accuse the other for bad actions you yourself are involved in. You can refuse to see your own behaviour objectively.
